software, and all original artwork and/or photos must be supplied for
re-scanning.

If
you’ve created your art in one of these programs, it is preferable to
save your document in its native format. If your program version is
higher than our above listed version, you must save it to our program
version number. A native file document will always give us best control
over font quality. Please include all original fonts and image files (placed or
imported) used in the document.
Otherwise, the file must be saved as a flattened .tif, .eps, (Fonts
Outlined) .jpeg, (Saved @
highest quality) or .pdf, with
all fonts embedded, saved at 300 dpi (Dots per Inch). We will not be responsible for changes to
these types of files.
All Photos
should be at least 300 dpi for
either black and white or four colors. Black and White photos must be
saved as “Grayscale”. Full
Color photos must be saved as “CMYK”. Please keep in mind that “PMS” or “Spot Colors”
not converted to CMYK will output as an additional color plate.
One or Two Color Logos and Line Art
should always be saved at a minimum of 600 dpi (1200 dpi preferable) or higher to achieve quality
reproduction.
Most graphics retrieved off the Internet are unusable
for printing purposes because they are created at a 72 dpi.
